The problem with free travel information

Japan street scene

Too much information

You've read 10 blogs and still don't know where to actually go

Hard to know what's actually good

Can't tell what's genuine vs. what's just well-ranked on Google or TripAdvisor

Hidden behind the language barrier

The best places are written in Japanese — invisible to most travellers

Limited holiday days

You can't afford to waste precious time on the wrong places

For £15, a Japanese native does the research for you. I search in Japanese — local review sites invisible to English speakers — and build a personalised plan around you.

This is what your plan looks like

Asakusa like a local — 1 day

History & drinks Off the tourist trail Tokyo
Day 1 — temples, matcha & old Tokyo bars
10:00 AM
Senso-ji Temple area
Yes, it's busy — but there's a reason everyone comes here. Skip Nakamise and head straight into the temple grounds. The back streets around Senso-ji are quieter and full of small craft shops locals actually use.
"Tourist crowds or not, this place still gives me goosebumps every time."
12:00 PM
Lunch at a historic bar
One of Tokyo's oldest drinking establishments, open since the early 1900s. Order the classic highball and the daily set lunch — a true Tokyo institution that most tourists walk straight past.
"I come here every time I'm in Asakusa."
2:30 PM
Matcha break
A small matcha café tucked away from the main tourist street. Much quieter than the famous spots, just as good.
"Skip the queues on Nakamise and come here instead."
5:00 PM
Walk to Skytree
Only 20 minutes from Asakusa through a quiet neighbourhood. Worth it for the walk alone — you pass through a part of Tokyo most tourists never see.

What's included in the plan?
A personalised itinerary with spot recommendations, personal notes on each place, and a Digital Phrase Guide with useful Japanese phrases tailored to your trip.
Do you book hotels or restaurants for me?
No — we don't make bookings or reservations on your behalf. The plan gives you all the information and recommendations you need to book confidently yourself. All arrangements are made by you.
How long does it take to receive my plan?
Within 5 days of receiving your completed form. If you're travelling soon, get in touch and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Can I request a specific city or region?
Yes — just mention it in the form. Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, rural areas, lesser-known regions — all welcome.
What if I want changes after receiving my plan?
The Essential plan (£15) is delivered as-is. If you'd like revisions, choose the With Revisions plan (£30) — includes 2 email exchanges within 2 weeks of delivery.
Can you create a plan for a longer trip?
Our standard plans cover up to 2 days or an equivalent number of spot recommendations. For longer trips, please get in touch and we'll discuss what's possible.
Can I cancel or get a refund after purchasing?
All purchases are non-refundable. Work begins as soon as your order is received, so cancellations cannot be accepted after purchase.
What is the cancellation policy for the consultation session?
Cancellations and reschedules are accepted up to 24 hours before the session. Rescheduling is available once per booking only. Requests made less than 24 hours before the session cannot be accommodated.
What languages do you support?
We support English and Japanese. Feel free to get in touch in either language.
Do you cover destinations outside Japan?
Currently, our travel plans cover Japan only. We specialise in Japanese destinations and want to ensure the highest quality recommendations.
